Do I Need a Drum Set at Home?
No! You don't need to purchase a full drum set to get started with drum lessons.
Beginning students can practice many of the skills they learn in lessons using a drum practice pad and drumsticks. A practice pad is an affordable and convenient way to work on rhythms, coordination, and technique at home without the noise and space requirements of a full drum set.
As students progress, families can decide whether purchasing a drum set makes sense for them.

Absolutely!
You don't need any previous musical experience to begin learning drums. Our drum lessons are appropriate for children, teens, and adults who are brand new to the instrument, as well as students who already have some experience playing.
